Join us for fun in Botany! We volunteer at the Bucknell garden and Lewisburg Community garden. We participate in seeding projects through these organizations. We work on fun activities related to Botany, such as painting pots and planting your own plants and caring for them throughout the semester. Additionally, we make tea out of plants, learn about the unique parts of the plants and visit the greenhouse at Bucknell University in Rooke. We did a larger event for Earth Day 2021 and planted lots of native shrubs and plants in the Grove. We learn how to care for a plant as well as the ecosystem of birds and bees who depend on these organisms.
